Release Date:
2026-03-24
PE gloves are primarily made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), both of which have low densities and large intermolecular voids, imparting excellent flexibility and breathability to the gloves.
Raw Material Composition
PE gloves are primarily made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), both of which have low densities and large intermolecular voids, imparting excellent flexibility and breathability to the gloves.
Production process
Polyethylene raw material is heated and melted via a blown-film process to form a thin film, which is then thermoformed into gloves. Certain products feature an embossed surface texture to enhance anti-adhesion and grip.
Physical Properties
Thickness range Common thicknesses range from 15 to 30 micrometers (0.015 to 0.03 millimeters), and medical-grade gloves must comply with the GB/T 24786-2009 standard, which imposes stringent requirements for thickness uniformity.
Protective performance : Waterproof, oil-resistant, and antibacterial; however, its oil resistance is relatively weak (oil molecules may slowly penetrate due to the “like dissolves like” principle), and its heat resistance is poor (recommended operating temperature ≤120°C).
